John Captain Birdseye Wood won the overall league and the the top assassin award through consistence attendance  and playing well throughout the autumn 2102 season. Of the 40 tournaments attended, he finished in the top quarter of competitors in a third, and the top half in two thirds. That gave him the edge over his closest contender Rob Scott. It was a great season for the seasoned campaigner, bagging the Mile Oak and Harbour View titles as well as the 2012 Sussex Pub Poker Masters’ event.

Andy Lambinator Lamb, Sam Oversock Beaumont, ob Scott and Jonno Vulture Cook recorded the most tournament victories of the season, four in total.

The league’s highest rated player was Lee Millward with consistent performances at gthe Poets’ Corer. See here how the player rating is calculated.

Other players who have won the Barry Trophy and highest player ratings in previous seasons can be found on our Wall of Fame.

The pie chart above indicates the strength of games overall this season. It measures the quartile finish in each tournament. In a sixteen player event, a player finishing in the top four would be in Quartile 1, fifth to eighth Quartile 2, ninth to twelfth in Quartile 3 and thirteenth to sixteenth in Quartile 4.
