Tom Murray beats twenty three runners

The infamous Cleaver hand, Jack Three was signficant in the final action of our March 26 event, giving Tom Murray his first Phoenix Pub Poker victory. It was a long heads up against Kit Hinton, who had entered this phase with a slight chip lead. Both players struck a deal with £161 prize shared. In third, Ryan Tanner bagged £46  and Martin Metcalfe £23 in fourth. Our bubble boy was Eden Cragg.

A Rob Scott error gifted Nick Jeffery 20k of chips in the first hand of the March 12 tournament, enabling him to conquer 19 players at the event. In second was Matt Johnson, third, Sandra Cresdee and fourth Milo Lopez. Jonno Cook bubbled.

Two out of three ain’t bad for Dan Bruncak

Dan Bruncak took his second win of our Spring Season on March 19. The series is only three weeks old! Five kills in the event put him in a good position at the start of top table and a spade on the river meant he was flushed with success against  Eden Cragg. A notable third was Callum Scott, who has refocused his game to great success. On the bubble again was Jonno Vulture Cook.
