Spring season’s finale battle of top dogs
Dan Bruncak and James Winfield had battled for top spot throughout the 13 weeks of our Spring 2019 season, only to meet in the heads up of the last game. Winfield was the winner on the night but Dan pipped him on season’s points and winnings by a narrow margin. The final table is here.
Peter Metcalfe’s Vegas adventure
Pete won a trip to the Red Tooth WSOP at the Orleons and came 17th out of 200 UK pub poker players narrowly missing the cash but hit big in the Bellagio in a $130 buy in tournie.

New league leader after May Day Hols
The Bank Holiday break meant there were a few absentees for the game on May 6, but 14 players did battle for the second Bonus Points Week of the season. Peter Burdett and Barry Rebuy Freeman shared top spot and £56 each and in third Dan Bruncak taking £28. The bubble was Simon Howe. Dan’s solid performancs over the last few weeks has meant he’s leapfrogged James Winfield’s early pace setting.
Twenty three players on May 13
A five way equal prize pot split was agreed when the blinds hit 20k/40k with an average stack of 184k. Peter Metcalfe, Callum Scott, Catherine Diffey, Simon Howe and Dan Bruncak took home £46 each for their efforts. The evening’s bubble was Raul Sasauran.
