Greg The Buddha Harrington won the Mile Oak Inn league on Sunday evenings for the second consecutive season. Often accompanied by his pooch, Yorkshire terrier Max, Greg won two games in the season and was the league’s top assassin with 19 hits. It is also noteworthy that he was not able to compete in all the season’s games, but still came out on top and was the most prolific assassin.

The player with the most wins was James Winfield, with three. This gave him the highest player rating.

Chloe Putman’s second place means that she qualifies for the Sussex pub Poker Masters’ Tournament. The league’s other qualifiers, Greg and Sam Beaumont had previously got their seats in other leagues.

Greg and Chloe also get a seat in the Super Nines tournament in September, by being first and second in the league. This cup is a competition between the top two places in each of the pub leagues and the winner of the Shiftworkers’ League.
