The above chart measures quartile finish in each tournament. In a sixteen player event, a player finishing in the top four would be in Quartile 1, fifth to eighth Quartile 2, ninth to twelfth in Quartile 3 and thirteenth to sixteenth in Quartile 4.

Matt Boi won his second quarterly poker league title at Phoenix Pub Poker’s busiest venue where there was an average of 18 players per night. And he did it without being able to attend all events! The demands of Mr Tesco and the lovely Martha sometimes meant he had to stay away.

Also of note is second place James Winfield, who, whilst only attending half the evenings was in contention to win the league right up to the last 20 minutes of the league. Two wins and other strong finishes gave him a great player rating.

The league’s top assassin was Rob The Hitman Scott, although this aggression did not compute into a high league finish!

Congratulations Matt and James for getting your seat in the Super Nines Tournament and The Sussex Masters. Also qualifying for the Sussex Masters in third place was Steve James.
