This was a league that had a change of league leader throughout the season. John Wood started it with a win and then the lead swapped between Matt Boi and Simon Beaumont.

It all went down to the wire in the season’s final game when 18 players competed. The league title could go seven ways, depending on results. The neck and neck leaders Simon and Matt exited early, leaving the opportunity to Greg Harrington, Pete Woodcock and The Vulture.

The Vulture got lucky busting The Lubricator’s slow played AA with a straight giving him a bank of chips to sit tight upon.

Smelling a carcass awaiting, Jonno went into tight mode on the top table, just awaiting pickings from the looser style competitors. As they fell, he went hyper aggressive when it got to the final three and the win took him from sixth to top place in one event.

The league’s top rated player was Sam Beaumont and the top assasin, Rob Scott, who demolished all eleven players in one event!

A really competitive league!
